BLURB:
It’s all an act. It’s not real. The blood is fake. The murders are scripted. It’s all pretend. That is until it’s not and I no longer know how to go back to just acting like the bad guy I’m not really supposed to be. Then I’m forced to make a different kind of movie, and the praises from the cameraman are enough for me to ignore the chain around my ankle. They’re enough for me to overlook the bodies falling around me, and they’re enough for me not to care about going back to how things were. I’m his star, and as long as he’s filming, I want to be sure to always put on the best show for him.
REVIEW:
Meet Sterling and his crazy life as an actor. Lately, he isn’t feeling it, feels hollow, in need of a vacation. Playing a vicious psychopath character does something to him, especially when there accidentally isn’t a fake weapon but a sharp real one. It’s thrilling! It stirs up some hidden feelings.
Hayden is the cameraman on set, oh boy, he’s a charming manipulator, a stalker, a sneaky night visitor, he’s watching Sterling as he sleeps, waiting for the right moment to claim him, and he also secretly protects him from anyone Hayden doesn’t like.
Sterling coincidentally (not! It’s a setup!) became friends with Hayden on set. He coincidentally (!) runs into Hayden more than once.
Hayden is patiently waiting for Sterling to surrender, he will, he’s sure of it. Meanwhile, he’s stirring up Sterling’s deepest desires.
Watch how Starling gets seduced, watch how Hayden gets Sterling where he wants him, where they both want to be. Until… it all went down.
I loved this story, it’s quite dark, oppressive, vicious, with die-hard stalking. The writing was wonderfully done, nothing about the circumstances was sugar-coated. The filming scenery was original!
There are trigger warnings (see tags).
