BLURB:
A fallen Crown Prince.
A convicted criminal.
A scandal neither of us can survive.
I don’t do love. I do caregiving.
Halo House sends me boys who need structure, protection, and someone to teach them how to survive. The arrangement is always simple, always temporary, and never personal.
Until Soren occupies Room 3.
He’s soft, spoiled, and helpless in ways that don’t make sense—until I learn the truth.
The boy who calls me Daddy is the deposed Crown Prince of a European kingdom.
And I’m the ex-convict who should know better than to touch him.
A prince and a felon would be scandal enough. But Soren isn’t just any prince, and I’m not the kind of man a royal family welcomes into the palace.
I should walk away before the world discovers us.
But I’m already in too deep, and letting him go is no longer an option.
Welcome to Halo House, a haven for boys who have nowhere else to go. This multi-author daddy kink MM romance series is a shared world that follows vulnerable boys finding shelter, chosen family, and protective Daddies who are ready to love them exactly as they are.
REVIEW:
Meet Soren Maximilian Aurelius Leontes, His Royal Highness the Crown Prince, Prince of Belvaria, Count of Veyr.
He was punished because he loved someone who’d betrayed him. He has to leave the Kingdom of Belvaria, stripped of all his privileges and titles. With the little he had, he left his country and went to California.
He ended up robbed, alone, with nothing but his clothes to wear.
Thank goodness there is Halo House, a house that takes care of boys who need shelter, protection, and structure.
Jude doesn’t do permanent relationships. He did it once, a long time ago, and ended up betrayed with a prison record. He’s a carpenter, and a Daddy who helped many boys from Halo House.
When he saw Soren at Halo House, a broken boy who seemed abandoned by his family, he knew he needed a Daddy, and wanted nothing more than to be that Daddy.
A contract with rules was signed by them, and broken just as quickly. There’s so much more between them. Jude is a perfect Daddy for Soren.
Honesty is important to Jude. Imagine when he would know Soren was a prince and came from Belvaria.
It was a delight watching them as Daddy and boy. Soren really needed all the guidance.
There are struggles on their path, but that’s something you need to discover yourself.
Ditto with some wonderful secondary characters! It’s all worth reading.
Overall, a smoothly written romance, super entertaining with a more than satisfying hea!
