REVIEW:
Well, color me surprised, when after my review of book four that it was not in fact the last book in this holiday series. This is book 5 of the SEAsons of Love series and might be the last one in this series. There are very few authors that can get me to read a Christmas story, and RJ is one of them. This one is another sweet holiday romance that is one of those reads I jump into, when I’ve had a major book hangover.
RJ’s worldbuilding is so good. I mean his love of cruising comes through with shining colors in this series. I know it made me want to try cruising, possibly not at the holidays though. But this book and the rest of the books in this series create a romantic holiday atmosphere that just can’t be beat. I will share a secret, I have been on a couple of cruises since I first got my greedy little hands on this series, and I have a much better vision of the world RJ is creating. As I can really picture all the events he’s describing.
Once again, we have brilliant and well crafted main and side characters in this story. We also get to revisit with some of the previously discussed couples and getting glimpses into their newly found loves. I love that Gabe is there to bring lots of continuity to the story as he’s been around for the whole series. We find out that Ronan (Ro) and Hollis (Hol) met along time ago in school and by happenstance reconnect on this cruise.
Sometimes in novellas, I feel short changed. But not this story or series. In the pages of this novella we get to see to old schoolmates reconnect and find the love they deserve. After struggling to find happiness elsewhere our guys are possibly in the right place at the right time. But even with the baggage each man carries, we get to see them find each other and possibly engage in lots of sexy times. How will Hol react to Ro’s secret reveal? Will they really find true love? Will we see all of the previous four couples? So not telling!!!! You know what to do if you want these and the rest of the story – READ the book.
I highly recommend this fifth book in the SEAsons of Love series. Run out a grab this from your favorite eBook purchasing site. You won’t regret picking up this sweet, cozy shipboard romance.
