Forced to flee to the human world, Elouan must discover his inner strength and awaken the alpha king within. But he can’t save his brothers, avenge his father, and rid Adrakus of an evil ruler alone. How can he find an omega mate to help him in Asheville, North Carolina?

The fate of the entire dragon realm rests in his reluctant talons.

And time is running out.

Dragon Heirs – Three brothers. Two choices. One destiny.

REVIEW:

Wow! What a journey so far! And why am I just now reading Eden Winters’ fabulous storytelling?

Prince Elouan Thorne is the Crown Prince of the High Reaches court. His father, King Locryn Thorne, is preparing him for his spot on the throne but Elouan really has no desire for the position. Not only does he have to find a suitable mate (per the Goddess of Fire) to assume the position but his Dad is doing just fine as King. In fact they are celebrating the fiftieth anniversary of his becoming king tonight. He would have gladly skipped the event if it wasn’t all about his father that he adored. And since his mother’s death, he knew he had to be there to support the man he respected and loved so much. But becoming king…”Elouan would gladly go his whole life without the heaviness of a crown upon his head.” When things go horribly wrong at the celebration and he is thrown in the dungeon after his father’s cruel murder at the hands of his own evil brother, Elouan must escape to the human realm before he is also put to death. But what will happen to High Reaches with his murderous Uncle now stealing the throne? A position that was denied him by the Goddess of Fire because he was not fit to be king.

This was an action packed page turner for sure. Corrupt brother that thought he should’ve been king! ✔️ This book has all the family drama of dragon royalty. The entire Dragon population seems in turmoil. And Elouan is in grave danger. His Uncle, and all the dragons that seek power and fortune, want him dead. Then they can truly rule without fear of the rightful Heir to the Throne taking them out. Escaping his death and being sent to the human world to hide and regroup is his only option. But one big thing stands in his way…how is he to find a mate suitable and acceptable to the Goddess of Fire so he can come back and avenge his father’s death and lead his fellow dragons of the High Teaches Court?

I got a bit frustrated that they could not sense the other’s dragon because of Jules’ guardians. His “Aunt’s” magic to hide that they were dragons because of Jules being hunted and in danger. And I get why she did it and what happened when she let her guard down. But I needed these two to figure out that they are the mates that the Goddess of Fire chose for them. I now can’t wait for book two and watch as they join forces to destroy the evil that is rampant. I see an alliance coming between the two clan courts and they have a lot to avenge!
