Be careful what you ask for.

Elgin Bolingbrook is drunk and in the wrong place at the wrong time. The mistaken target for a gang lands Elgin in my protection. He’s cute, confused, and so ridiculously responsive to me that I quickly become addicted.

As we close in on the gang who’s after Elgin, I realize that once we eliminate the threat, I’m going to lose the man I enjoy playing like a violin.

REVIEW:

After being so drunk that he was looking for his hotel instead of his home, hockey player Elgin Bolingbrook ended up at the wrong place, becoming a target of a gang. He was lucky, Arath van Doren and his men were after the gang and saved Elgin’s drunken ass.

Arath took Elgin home, put him to bed, and let him sleep. Arath knows Elgin is still a target and needs protection. He will be the one to take care of Elgin’s safety, he and his team. Elgin was totally pampered by Arath, in and out of the bedroom.

Elgin thought he was straight but Arath’s velvet voice was a soft stroke to Elgin’s dick. The man takes care of him, and Elgin let him. There’s nothing in him that wants to protest. Arath is a big man, he’s beautiful, determined, protective, and with the looks of a mafia boss. Living with Arath, in this huge house, and being protected by all these hot, muscled guys isn’t hard. Even though the business Arath is running is vague.

Elgin is easygoing, he doesn’t have many questions, and was swept off his feet by charming hot Arath.
Arath sucks him off several times a day. He has no reason to complain. Arath is playing him like a fiddle. There are delicious scenes to enjoy.
Arath is stalling to eliminate the threat on Elgin, because when it’s done, Elgin will leave.

I loved the build-up of this story. It started focused on Arath and Elgin, and slowly expanded, with more room for development of the surroundings, background, and the people around.
It was a solidly written story; it was entertaining, sensual, and had a great plot.
I adore the Van Doren books!
