BLURB:
A drunken mistake, and a one-night stand. It was never supposed to be more than that.
Noah Fairweather doesn’t care what it looks like. Going on holiday with your parents is all rather civilised and normal, even for an almost forty-something British doctor. Anyway, it’s a gorgeous beach resort, all-inclusive food, and the room is actually a villa with a private little terrace. Deckchairs, sun, sea, sand and he’s already eyed up a bottle of nice Shiraz on the room service menu.
What he hadn’t quite counted on was ending up being someone’s…ridiculous rebound shag.
Fair enough, but…now he’s got a bloke in his bed and his parents next door, and the guy…
Crap.
This wasn’t at all what this holiday was supposed to be about. There’s no future here, is there? Can a simple hook-up, a million miles from home…ever become something real?
Nah. Life doesn’t work like that. Does it?
REVIEW:
Imagine you’re on a holiday and meet the love of your life. The feelings are mutual. Simple? Not at all.
This author always creates the most fabulous characters. You can only love them!
Noah is a doctor, he’s forty and wants a quiet holiday. A bit difficult with (lovely) meddling parents. Then… he finds a man on his terrace.
Fox Riley is forty-one, he’s a Head teacher and happy with his job. He’s on a holiday with friends, including his ex and partner. Fox had a bad breakup. He ended up with burned feet at someone’s villa terrace.
They have an instant connection and the sexiest night. What they have is exactly what both have been looking for their whole lives: these feelings, this perfect connection, the fun, the warmth.
Noah feels inadequate, thinks he’s boring, and no sane person wants to live with him.
Ha! Fox has other ideas about Noah. He’s convinced they should explore the unique connection they have, even if it’s just for this holiday.
Noah is afraid to end up heartbroken. It’s scary how perfectly they fit. He is convinced this will never work. They live countries apart.
Of course it will work! Not right away, of course. But it will work out, because this author knows exactly how to write a beautiful romance with something special!
Did I mention Bailey? The fabulous boy who, after several bad placings, chooses his own parents?
My heart, what a marvelous story this is. Two handsome, fabulous men who couldn’t see their own precious qualities. Thank goodness the other one showed them! Noah is sweet, soft, attentive, and affectionate. Fox is lovely, emotional, honest, and a complete mess.
Tea, anyone?
