REVIEW:
Thor and Wylde know that they are trying to rebuild their relationship. A relationships that has hit some rough spots due to multiple serious injuries from their former careers as Professional Bull Riders. And the loss of their third when Thor was badly injured.. So now, adjusting to this new life at Rawhide Ranch, had taken some time and work. When their boss Derek, who is very knowledgeable and aware, asks the two of them to fulfill a new paying submissive unique requests Wylde agrees immediately. This just might be that golden opportunity to salvage not only their friendship but their floundering relationship. A relationship Wylde personally feels responsible for its collapse during Thor’s recovery.
The part that actually irritated me was Thor and Wylde’s lack of communication. These are suppose to be experienced Dom’s that know what to do. And they did listen to Payne and had open communication when Payne arrived,…but only with Payne. However, talking out their personal crap seemed like was no go! Wylde needed time to decide if one more round with Bull Riding was needed before his mind finally retired from the sport. And I understand why Thor was so upset. He’d loved it too. However, how he proceeded with his displeasure over Wylde even considering it was wrong. And dragging their sub, that was still literally on his paid vacation, was also totally wrong. Yes, Payne had already decided to take a chance with these two men. But their stubbornness almost cost all three everything they desired!!! I just was so disappointed in them. I did appreciate that they finally talked and all that went on previously that destroyed them last time was chewed out. And that they worked together to get back the heart of their triad once and for all!
I really liked this book and the premise. I just needed Thies Doms to pull their heads out of their assets and learn to communicate if they wanted a loving and successful relationship. And thankfully they finally did!
