BLURB:

The golden rule of reality TV is that every show needs a villain. What it doesn’t need is two villains.

After being part of the OG lineup that made Keeping Up With The Veterinariansa smash-hit show, I’m being pushed out. Replaced by a younger, hotter, more villainous version of myself.

I should hate Cabot Ledger for coming after my gig. He’s infuriating and arrogant and doing way too good a job of following in my footsteps. But I don’t. I actually really like him.

But villains don’t get happy endings…do they?

REVIEW:

Scooter Burns is the villain star of the KUWTV tv-show, well… he was.
Someone wants to get rid of him.
That someone chose Cabot Ledger as the newest villain to join the actor team.

Cabot needs the money the show will give him. He has to make Scooter look bad so they can dump him. Only, Scooter is a wonderful guy and a good actor.

Scooter is an easy-going guy, he should hate Cabot for trying to take his place, but he doesn’t.
He thinks he’s a great guy.

Something is growing between them, something that has no future, or does it?

I loved this fast-paced narrative. It was mellow and friendly, except for one person, of course.
Scooter is a wonderful character and takes life as it comes. Their romance is lovely to watch.
The author is an expert at writing short stories that feel large and full, applause!
Overall, a satisfying 82-page short read.
