Can’t a guy heal his broken heart in peace?…
When my relationship falls apart, I escape to the tropical paradise of North Queensland to lick my wounds, hoping for a fresh start.
It’s a good plan. A solid plan… Until a baby lands in my lap. Literally.
The father, desperate and panicked, begs me to save his precious baby girl before fleeing the people hunting him.
Vaughn is a mystery, that’s for sure. Guarded, gorgeous, and way too good at making me forget why I came here in the first place.
The chemistry between us is undeniable. Before I know it, we’re sharing dinners on my yacht and sun-soaked days on the beach. I can feel him softening, trusting me more—but he’s still holding something back.
When the men chasing him return, Vaughn drops a bombshell I never saw coming.
MOVERS is a single dad, forced proximity MM romance featuring a guarded billionaire licking his wounds and a single dad with a secret past.
It’s book 3 in the UPPER ECHELONS series but can be read as a stand-alone.
REVIEW:
Clayton thought he was in a good place until his partners told him they would move forward without him. He’s devastated, and after several months, he ordered a new yacht, changed location, and started a new future, alone.
On his way to the marina, a guy who looks scared leaves his baby with Clayton, telling him where and with whom he has to leave her, and runs off.
Not the new start that Clayton thought it would be.
With an office near the marina, Clayton is finally happier. Living on his new super yacht was the right decision. He meets Vaughn again, yes, the dad! Vaughn and Clayton start a sweet friendship, they meet regularly, of course with Vaughn’s adorable daughter. Vaughn doesn’t explain why he’s in the situation he is now. Clayton is okay with that, even though it hurts Vaughn doesn’t trust him enough to open up.
Gosh, I loved Clayton, he’s honest and uncomplicated, you get what you see. He deserved Vaughn’s honesty, and thank goodness he got it!
While Vaughn’s situation is precarious, the story itself is delightful and not too heavy.
I loved this story, short and sweet, awesomely written, with a great plot and wonderful characters!
