A psychic prediction of death…
… That ends up coming true.
Ram and Will aren’t exactly believers in the occult. When a medium comes to them and claims to have heard rumours of death from the other side, they laugh her out of the door. But when her prediction comes true, they have to consider that something more serious might be going on here.
A missing person case turns out to be more complex than they could have imagined, and with the lines between life and death becoming blurred, they both have to confront their own feelings about what happened to them in Paris. The fears, the doubts, and the worry for Capitaine Varon haven’t gone away – and every hint of danger is enough to make Ram want to wrap Will in unwanted cotton wool. That doesn’t help when they’re sucked deep into the turmoil of national politics, and the seedy underbelly of big business.
With a trip home for Christmas impending, and the invitation to the mysterious Black Dragon still looming, Ram has a lot on his mind. But with Harry and Alex both having their own reasons for staying quiet, Will has to find a way to keep him steady on his own. What’s awaiting them will make them wonder – and rattle some of their core beliefs to their foundation.
REVIEW:
I KNEW something was going to happen in this book. I knew it! I wasn’t sure what but after what transpired in the last one and what Ram was hiding, ohhh I knew it was about to get ugly and I was right. Man, if you guys are not reading this series, you are missing out on one hell of a murder mystery. It is a serious mindf*** right now and I love it.
If you’ve been keeping up at all, you know Ram and Will are going through it. Really through it. If you haven’t, go catch up. I was really disappointed in Ram in this one at the end though. I knew when he got the thing for the Black Dragons, who was going to be behind it. And I realize why he did what he did. But if Ram hadn’t changed his ways from the past, this story would have turned out a WHOLE lot different. And it disappointed me too, because Will was finally opening up and trusting Ram, and getting more comfortable with him and their relationship. And I’m afraid of what is going to happen now. This may hurt things drastically. And after so many things were finally going right. Well, some things. Some, in this book, are going terribly, terribly bad, and too many people are being put in too many bad positions.
I’m afraid to think about a few of them. And I’m afraid for Ram and Will and what this development is going to mean for them. Not just that Will will be mad as hell, but their safety. Life is about to take one nasty turn again and I hope they can come back from this one. I’m sure there’s going to be an HEA. I hope lol. I would hate for them to get this far and have the author kill them off. I would not be a happy camper. But I do know they are going to go threw it. The sadistic people in these books are not going to have it any other way.
There’s just sooooo much in these books. I wish I could just tell you the whole stories because they are that good, but, that wouldn’t be right. You need to read them for yourself. I do have to highly recommend them, though. Seriously, one of the best murder mysteries I’ve read in a while. Check them out.
