Hi everyone, I am sorry to say, I don’t have a post planned for this month. Between the COVID apocalypse, transitioning to working from home and lots and lots of personal things going on right now, I just ran out of time. That being said, I’ve found myself revisting some favorite stories as of late, and thought I’d share a series with you guys that I have read multiple times and fall more in love with the characters every time I do a re-read. The books are available on Audible now so I’ve been listening and am reminded of just how sexy these guys are and how accomplished a writer the Author truly is. And, lets be honest, with the state of the world right now all us book loving fiends want to do is curl up with a great book and disappear, am I right!
Promises, The Bounty Hunter series by AE Via…
Promises part 1… I am always entranced in Via’s books, her ability to pair strong, alpha males and make the relationship believable. This particular story is a May/December romance with a twist, definitely a must read for anyone that loves a passionate romance. There is also a lot of action and some suspense in this book as well, a little bit of something for everyone I’m sure. A five star read for me!

Promises part 2… Overall I thought this book was even better than the first. In fact, I liked it so much; I want to read it again already. I enjoy the way Via can describe and relay human emotion in her characters and make the reader feel their pain and root for them to get their happy ever after. I highly recommend this read. While you could start with Promises book 1 and not be lost, if you haven’t read the Nothing Special series my suggestion would be to start there. The characters overlap and I think knowing who, what, where and when would make this series just that much more enjoyable if you start at the beginning.
