SYNOPSIS

Saying forty-year-old entrepreneur Cash Moreau is having a bad week is an understatement. The man he’s been with for years leaves him for a new job, his own company is in crisis, and to top it all off, a young stranger shows up on his doorstep with all his worldly possessions, claiming to be his new boy. Liam wants a Daddy to depend on, and Cash refuses to believe he’s what’s best for Liam.
Despite their powerful connection, Cash finally pushes Liam away, and the beautiful boy who stole his heart disappears. Soon, Cash realizes what he’s let slip through his fingers. The elusive thing he’s been searching for is Liam, it’s only ever been Liam, and suddenly Cash will move heaven and earth to find what he’s lost. Will he find his boy in time to make things right, or is it too late to let him in?
Liam had felt so comfortable with him, he’d taken his shoes off under the booth table and played footsie with him. It was so unexpected, patently adorable, and daring of his boy, so he’d let him play for quite some time. When Liam had finally felt bold enough to put one of his feet against Cash’s semi, rubbing his foot up along his length, Cash had looked across the table at him and seen the mischievous boy lurking behind the man’s eyes.
He’d been helpless against Liam’s smile and had let him have his fun, which had finally ended in Liam slouching and shoving both of his socked feet under Cash’s spread thighs. He’d had his straw in his mouth and had moaned. Cash nearly choked on his own laughter, unsure what had caused Liam’s reaction until he whispered, “You’re so warm.”
Cash had reached his hand down and touched the tops of Liam’s freezing cold feet then under his jeans to his calves which were also cold. He spent the rest of their lunch warming the boy up with soft touches from his warm hands. But he wasn’t about to forget about Liam’s hour long teasing session. Oh no. The boy had it coming, and once they got in the car, he was going to collect.
As soon as they got in the car and back on the freeway, he glanced at Liam and got a grin shot his way. He grinned back and said, “Unzip your jeans for me and pull out your pretty little cock and balls. I want to see them.”
Liam’s eyes grew wide, but damned if the boy didn’t do as he said without a hint of hesitation. He watched the road then glanced back at his boy. Liam had unzipped and even lifted his hips so he could pull his jeans down just enough to keep the zipper from irritating his pretty, soft ball sac. “Lift your shirt up a bit, so I can see your little happy trail. There you go, boy. Tell me how pretty you are.”
He glanced back over at Liam and saw him gazing down at himself then over at Cash, down, and then over again. He took a deep breath and said, “I’m pretty, Daddy.”
Luna David is a true romantic at heart who was fortunate enough to find and marry her soul mate. Congrats, Luna, and thanks for the excerpt. This sounds like a good one. I like just about any trope IF it’s well written – there’s the rub – but I’m partial for enemies to lovers and redemption.
