Atlas and Hunter have been best friends for years. Throughout the story, we learn what they have been through!
Chasing Cody Jenkins through the woods, on ice, and around campus is fun for Atlas and Hunter.
Atlas has been into Hunter for five years, and now he’s into Jenkins too. Guess what: Hunter isn’t blind, he sees Atlas is attractive, and noticed Cody too. But his friendship is important, and he doesn’t want to blow it up. He can have Atlas through Cody.
Meanwhile, Cody hates the two giants, and even more how his body reacts to them.
He’s fighting them, verbally and physically, on and off the ice. But he can’t get rid of them.
The more Cody sputters and fights, the more they are attracted to him.
The part of the story where they get closer was awesome to watch. Not only the three of them, but also Hunter and Atlas.
For me, the hockey terminology and matters were a bit too much and took my focus away.
The ones who are familiar with hockey and have English as their native language will have a different experience.
The characters were consistently crafted. I love the protectiveness Hunter and Atlas felt for Cody.
There’s quite a dark part in this story, you could feel it along the way. I loved how the author executed this, very well done.
