BLURB:

A bond torn apart by grief. An omega hunted by his own blood. A child worth a fortune to the wrong people. And an alpha who’d rather die than watch history repeat itself.

Soren was born into a world that had already decided what he was worth.

Not a person. An investment. A rare omega bloodline with documentation going back twelve generations, and a body that made him valuable the moment he presented. When his family forced a breeding arrangement that cost another man his mate, his life, and any say in what came next, Soren was locked away to give birth in secret.

Alpha wolf Cassian has been alone on his mountain for three years, with a shattered bond and no intention of getting involved in anyone else’s problems. His bonded mate died, and what’s left of Cassian runs the fence line at night and waits to be ready. He doesn’t take in strangers. He doesn’t get involved.

When his camera picks up a small shape crawling up the snowbank on the county road with one arm braced under a pregnant belly, he tells himself twice that this isn’t his problem.

Snowed in on a mountain with no way out, Cassian has weeks to keep a frightened omega and his unborn daughter alive — and no idea that keeping them safe will mean learning how to live again. But the family Soren ran from isn’t done, and the brother who wants his niece more than he ever wanted his sibling is coming to collect what he believes is his.

Omega Hunted is an MM omegaverse romantic suspense featuring a grieving alpha wolf, a pregnant omega on the run, a broken bond healing into something neither man expected, a desperate crime family, forced proximity, hurt/comfort, and genuine darkness.

REVIEW:

One book into this amazing series by a new-to-me author and I am totally and completely hooked! 🪝

Soren may be worth a fortune to the Family dynasty, especially to his Alpha brother who is now patriarch, but he has absolutely no rights for himself nor his his snow leopard. He is being used to be bred a pure bloodline heir, not even being allowed to keep the child he is growing within his body. Because that’s what he’s been reduced to, an incubator. Living in a horrible place call Center 14 and providing his evil brother the heir he couldn’t produce. A rare bloodline that is protected by The Families. He is just a means.

This book got to me. At times I had to set it down because I was absorbing so much wrong. The level of evilness by The Families to keep their empires going was disgusting. But the most disgusting was what happened to Soren to get him pregnant. That poor alpha and his mate. I can’t even comprehend the depravity that would take to force something like this. It made me cry. and then to know it was so Soren‘s brother could keep the pure offspring. It was upsetting and so wrong.

The other horrible side to this story is what Cassian had endured done when the leaders of ORT decided that his mated omega was “ expendable” in an operation that left him without his bonded mate and destined to die.  I did love that, no matter how much Cassian grieved his Raff, he was driven to finish what Raff envisioned. A secret sanctuary for rescued Omega.

But the Goddess has plans that neither Cassian nor Soren ever saw coming. These two helped heal each other and the bond that formed was a truly special gift for both. I really loved how that part of this opening story played out.

I loved that Cassian’s ORT team still honored and respected him. Ronan, who lost also with his brother’s senseless death, and Brec, their medic,  never gave up on him. They allowed him to grieve but they always were ready to follow their Alpha leader if he needed them. And they are as loyal as can be. And I am eager to learn more about the mysterious THE ARCHIVIST.

What a fantastic opening book to a fabulous new series. I am really looking forward to all of the team’s stories and hearing who is the mole that put  them in danger.
