Boy Blue is an m/m small town romance complete with hurt/comfort, amnesia, age gap, mutual rescue, runaways, angst, broken characters, found family, all the feels, small town vibes, slow burn, opposites attract, pining, broken homes, comfort food, flannel shirts, and snow. Lots and lots of snow.

I have been looking forward to this next book in this new series and I think I like it even better than the first one and that’s saying a lot!
A storm is coming to Hysham, Montana. A big one. And early for this type of blizzard. Only October. But Wolfe had lived through the last of them last spring when he moved. To Diamond Willow, the remote place he had bought about 10 miles out of town. And he knows enough to get to town, stock up, and hunker down when he gets back home. But the storm is faster than he expected and never expected a young man to collapse in front of his truck right by his home. Must have been one of those three he saw over at the train tracks in town. But how did he get there?
Blue’s story is a truly sad one. How people can call themselves parents and then treat their sons like they did is a mystery to me. And I understand that they live in a wealthy conservative area. But wouldn’t people talk more after what they did?
I loved that Wolfe and Blue both became true to who they truly were. Neither Blue and Wolfe had any desire to go back to their lives when they had lived back “home” with their parents after all they had endured. Blue having chosen to be a boxcar boy, a dangerous and hard life, over going back to his wealthy parents, or that horrible place he had been put in, when he escaped. And Wolfe served his short time, then learned a trade, and moved far away from those that had turned on him. Ones that he thought loved him. But just that he had been obedient. But they found both home and family when they came to Hysham, Montana.
I am eager to hear Star’s story and if he also winds up in the tiny but welcoming town of Hysham and its wonderful and giving residents. People who look out for their own. Whether or not they grew up there. When you move to Hysham you are finally home! . This is a great series and I can’t wait for more.
Note: I would highly recommend that you read the first book Jack Be Nimble first. These are closely integrated and you need how this all started first.
