It’s a high heat, friends to lovers romance with a sunshine NHL goalie who also might be a golden retriever in disguise, a PPHL goalie with big black cat energy, a stalker, and no faith in himself, hooking up in a friend’s car, praise and pain, high stakes romance, hockey bro banter, tons of chirping, and the swooniest happily ever after.

Disclaimer: This is book two in the Legends and Fury series. What does that mean? Well, it means at minimum you should read the first book in the series. As there are many references t the characters mentioned in the previous book. Also, I would like to mention that you should pay close attention to the content warnings for this book.
Ok now that I’ve gotten that out of the way, let me tell you how much I loved this book. As much as I love hockey, I had no idea how intrigued I would become about the PPHL written about in this series.
The world building once again has been off the charts. The sheer detail E.M. has included in this story is a credit to their writing skill and attention to detail and research. This story incorporates so many real world issues relevant to this day and age. I’ve mentioned before, but the astounding amount of research for this series really shines through. Especially when E.M. describes the challenges presented if one thing in a blind persons well-organized and labeled home is moved. I can’t imagine the kind of sheer panic that would cause. But it was described so well, I can envision the heart palpitations that would be caused.
Once again character development is top notch in this story. We get to see how Micah and Vanya go from a brief encounter one night to dealing with Micah’s stalker. What I really enjoy is how much depth is given to not only the main characters but the side characters as well. E.M. truly writes characters, that I not only love, but ones that I love to hate – stares at Hunter!!!
Another beautifully written book that incorporates all my favorite things, found family, sexy times, friends to lovers and hockey just name a few things. Will Hunter get what’s coming to him? Will Micah let Vanya break down his emotional barriers? Will Vanya and Micah get their happy ending? Sorry, My Darlings, I am not about to spoil it for you… If you want the answers to this and many more gorgeous details included in this story, you know what to do.
I highly recommend this second story from E.M. Lindsey in the Legends and Fury series. So much so, you need to run right out and grab a copy from your favorite eBook purchasing site. I am so looking forward to the next book in the series.
