BLURB:

He’s the campus god with blood on his hands.
I’m the TA who should’ve walked away.

Everyone worships Dominic Volkov—the Russian quarterback with a million‑dollar smile, a body built for victory, and a future everyone wants a piece of. He’s untouchable on the field and off it. The kind of man who owns every room he walks into.

But I know better.

The first time I met him, there was a dead man lying at his feet and blood on his hands. But instead of running, I made a deal with the devil and bound myself to a man who doesn’t believe in mercy.

I was raised to fear sin and resist temptation. To believe wanting the wrong thing would damn me.

I’ve always been good at running from sin.
But Dominic has made it clear that I’m his favorite.

REVIEW:

Brendon Lane is twenty-three; he’s a Preacher’s kid, straight-laced, and a TA.
He’s newest student will be Dominic Volkov, the golden boy everybody loves.

The first time Brendon meets Dominic it’s at Dominic’s home, with a dead body at his feet, he just murdered someone!

Dominic Volkov is twenty-five, he’s a student, the golden boy, a star football player. His grades are too low, Brendon Lane is the TA who will help him.
After Brendon witnesses him with a dead body at his feet, he should kill Brendon, but even more, he wants to play with him.

The more Dominic meets up with shy Brendon, the more he’s getting obsessed and possessive.
Brendon has feelings he has always kept secret, as the good church boy he is.
Looking at Dominic, those feelings are bubbling up.

The shy but feisty Brendon is like a drug to Dominic.
Being hugely observant, and analyzing, Dominic plays Brendon as a fiddle, for both their pleasure.

Dominic is the Beast, but don’t underestimate Brendon. Watch when he rises above himself, above his god-fearing religion, as the preacher’s boy he is, how he rises above his suppressed feelings, and be the guy he really is, with Dominic. He’s raw, needy, submissive, loving, and watching in awe when Dominic protects him and gets violent.

At some point, we get that Dominic isn’t the only killer around.
I could spill a lot about this story, but I won’t of course. I highly recommend you read it yourself!

I love the intense focus on Dominic and Brendon. There’s more to this story, but I loved the intense focus on both men.
There’s a dynamic and chemistry between them that was off the charts.
The intensity of this story is immense. So many details to enjoy, to mention just a few: the focus on eyes, hands, breath, whimpers, anticipation, aftercare, gosh!! The communication, especially from Dominic’s side, was mind-blowing. He’s a killer, yes, but he’s way more!

All the stars.

Mind the trigger and content warnings.
