REVIEW:
One of the things that I really like about this author is that he writs so many different kinds of stories. He writes cute holiday stories, harrowing mysteries and this rather sweet romance. I was invested from the beginning when Jay and Wallace meet rather serendipitously. They each go through less than fulfilling relationships and years between seeing each other before they finally come together as a couple.
The timeline of their relationship also aligns with major cultural shift in LGBTQ+ rights. As Jay and Wallace’s relationship grows and changes, they have to make decisions on what they want it to look like as the laws and mood of the country and courts change as well. I thoroughly enjoyed reading about their journey and I think you will too.
Note: This book is largely autobiographical according to the author. Kudos to this couple for finding each other and living their best lives. Definitely recommended.
