Wyatt and Grant still aren’t allowed to want each other.
In the midst of a divorce he should have seen coming from the start, Wyatt finds himself back in North Edgewood, back at his dad’s house, back next door to Grant Harding. It’s been ten years since the two men have spoken, ten years since they’ve seen each other, but it doesn’t take long for either of them to realize that–for the fire burning between them–ten years is no time at all.
Grant has spent the decade wondering what his life would have been like if he’d had the courage to speak up when Wyatt professed his love. Convinced too much has gone unsaid for too long, he believes the only things that can exist between them are silence and space. But when Wyatt corners him alone one night, old emotions flare and that idea goes right out the window.
Grant and Wyatt find it’s far too easy falling back into old habits. It’s weeks of secret encounters, stolen kisses, and–this time–quiet declarations that threaten the foundations of both of their lives. Ten years spent yearning for each other has to have been enough. Ten years of love lost has led them to this moment. To the brink of a lifetime of devotion they’d never been allowed to have.
Until now.
Until Now is a 60,000 word romance that brings around the conclusion of Wyatt and Grant’s romance. This book has on page power exchange and D/s themes between consenting adults.
REVIEW:
We finally get the conclusion of Grant and Wyatt’s ten-year non-relationship that has had to be so secretive…Until Now!
Wyatt has returned to his dad’s home in California. He has left his six-figure job at his firm in New York after his marriage to Mike went up in flames. Living in the expensive shoe box of an apartment no longer holds its appeal. But returning to his Dad’s seems like a puppy with it’s tail between his legs. Failure keeps ringing in his mind. Failed marriage. Failed living the big life in New York. And Failed relationship with the one true love-of-his-life still living right next door. Grant has had ten years of “what if’s” and regret. Now the “one that was forbidden and got away” is right back next door. Wyatt isn’t that naïve 18 year-old boy anymore. He has grown into quite the man…a man Grant still wants with every fiber of his body and mind. But Wyatt is still his best friend Adam’s only child and it’s a betrayal of their trust and friendship. But he can only resist Wyatt so much before it’s impossible to say no. What couldn’t be sustainable before is right there waiting for both men. But they weren’t ready fore love before but waited Until Now!
Wyatt and Grant’s ten years of waiting and pinning was definitely a very slow burn but now it suddenly ignited and there is no dousing those flames any more. They weren’t ready for what each needed before but they can’t be stopped this time no matter what or who stands in front of them. They need each other. This is finally the right place and the right time.
I did love that Wyatt grew into himself. He wasn’t a pushover and that push definitely resulted in some hot scenes. And when Grant made his mind up there was no going back.
I keep wondering if this is the last of the series or if we will get each of both Robin and Devon’s stories? And I get Wyatt’s reluctance at marriage, after his disastrous one with Mike that never ever should have happened in the first place, but secretly hoped that he and Grant would.
