Monthly Guest Post—Andy Gallo—A Year of Fits and Stops

I have to admit, a year ago I expected things to better by this time. Glad they don’t pay me to predict the future. I won’t rehash the last year’s ups and down, because we are all living it. Instead, lets talk about the year ahead. For me. Writing wise – because heaven knows I can’t predict other stuff.

Books for 2022

Moving into 2022, I’ve decided to pivot slightly. I’m going to work on a Paranormal Romance series with lots of magic, shifters, fated mates, and a few demons.  The novella that introduces the world will be free starting January as part of the Your Book Boyfriend’s Boyfriend promo.  To learn more about that giveaway, like the Facebook page for the promotion:

That’s where you can find the link when the promotion goes live on January 1, 2022. There are over 100 authors involved and every story is new. No cliffs, no need to read other books in the series to know what’s happening, just a bunch of complete, stand alone stories that hopefully will be very entertaining. Here is the cover to my submission – Spell it Out:

After that, Book One – Break the Spell – will be released the end of April, 2022.

You can pre-order book one here:

I expect to have a second book in the series this year as well. I have other books coming, but these are the only two with firm release dates.

(Almost) Last Thoughts of 2021

I’ll end this month’s post with some wishes for the future. I want us to find a way to get back to living the way we want. I want us to see our families and friends without worrying about them or us getting sick – or worse. I want to see the smiles of my loved ones when we meet for the first time in a long time. I want to be able to travel again without worrying if it’s safe or smart. And most of all, I want to see as many of you as I can at conventions, or book events.

C’mon 2022, let do this right!

More Puppies!

For a final dose of 2021 cute – I give you more puppies – they will start to go home next week, so this is likely the last time we’ll have them all together.

They like to sleep in one big puppy pile.

If you want to see more puppy pictures, pop into my reader group – Gallorious Readers – where I’ll be posting more pictures before they leave.

Until next month, have a wonderful rest of the holiday season. May it be full of joy, family, and good memories.

Andy Gallo:

Andy prefers mountains over the beach, coffee over tea, and regardless if you shake it or stir it, he isn’t drinking a martini. He remembers his “good old days” as filled with mullets, disco music, too-short shorts, and too-high socks. Thanks to good shredders and a lack of social media, there is no proof he ever descended into any of those evils.

Andy does not write about personal experiences and no living or deceased ex-boyfriends appear on the pages of his stories. He might subconsciously infuse his characters with some of their less noble qualities, but that is entirely coincidental even if their names are the same.

Married and living his own happy every after, Andy helps others find their happy endings in the pages of his stories. He and his husband of more than twenty years spend their days raising their daughter and rubbing elbows with other parents. Embracing his status as the gay dad, Andy sometimes has to remind others that one does want a hint of color even when chasing after their child.
