Stuart Jenner’s job is high stress, high stakes, and everything he’s strived for. So why, when the apex of his career is within reach, does he stumble? At his doctor’s insistence, he books a privately chartered yacht to sail around the Whitsundays for two weeks of sun, surf, and sex. When his friend-with-benefits bails on him at the last minute, Stuart decides to go alone.
Foster Knight left the rat race behind six years ago, bought a yacht, and now calls the Great Barrier Reef his home. Sailing tourists around tropical waters is all in a day’s work, and he’s never been happier. When his next client arrives alone, the two-week charter will be the most private job he’s ever had.
Foster can see how stressed and exhausted Stuart is, and he promises him extensive rest and relaxation. Stuart slowly realises his original plan for two weeks of sun, surf, and sex might not be lost yet. Confined to a yacht, isolated by aqua-coloured oceans and the sweltering sun, Stuart and Foster are about to find out just how hot the tropics can get.
REVIEW:
White, tight and most importantly wet speedos might not always be in fashion or appropriate, but they sure do make a statement…
Stuart Jenner has it all, the well paid job, prestige and envy of others wanting to be in his shoes. He lives for his high stakes works, the thrills of making deals. At least that’s what he tells himself. His doctor has another opinion. So to get his health back on track he’s going on vacation, the first one in five years. Two weeks on a private chartered yacht, with nothing to do but swim, relax and hopefully have lots and lots of sex.
Foster is living his dream. He left the buzzing city life behind him six years earlier and bought a yacht, his home. He sails tourist around the reefs and couldn’t be happier. That is until Stuart comes aboard and makes him break rule after rule. It’s those darned white speedos…
There are definitely insta-lust happening between Stuart and Foster, but I liked that they didn’t rush things. I liked the playfulness, the flirting, teasing the build-up. It made the relationship more. Made it mean more, feel deeper.
Private Charter might be all fluff and sexiness, but there’s still depth to it. I connected to both Stuart and Foster from the get go. I felt the pressures from Stuart’s intense job and high life, his need to get away. Then there was the über-relaxed Foster all about the sunsets and sunrises, sailing and enjoying the quiet life on the waters. Contrasts that really worked well together.
This book feels like summer; it’s fun and carefree, it’s playful and flirty. It made me want to go sailing – and I’m not a boat girl, I get seasick only thinking the word boat. But that’s how much I enjoyed being on the water with these guys. Getting away for a while, relaxing and having fun. Taking life moment by moment.
I enjoyed Private Charter immensely. It was a fun and sexy read. It put me in a great mood and Instead of spending the evening in my apartment, I’ve been sailing on the reefs and generally had a wonderful time.
Recommended to anyone looking for a sexy romance, a lot of sun and playing in the waters.
