BLURB:
I can make it by myself. The only rules I follow are my own. Love? I learned that lesson the hard and painful way it wasn’t right for me. Sure, sometimes it gets lonely and I wish I had a man to hold. Who’d love me. Want me. Treat me with respect. Yeah, I dance in a club but that doesn’t mean I’m easy. Or a fool. So you, sitting in the back, watching me? I know what you want. You want me. In your bed. Under you. But I say no. It doesn’t matter how many presents you give me.
I’m not falling for you. I know who you are. But you don’t know me. You don’t know Austin.
REVIEW:
Oh my gah. I knew this was a cliffhanger. I read the blurb. I knew. I thought i had prepared myself, but oh gah, nothing can prepare you for this. I NEED the next book to be here. I need to know if Austin gets his man, if Frankie is ok and will be. There’s just so much to know and this was so good and oh my GAH!
So Austin is a dancer. He works for a studio teaching and is trying for parts to get his big break, but it’s not enough to pay the bills. So he works at Man Up dancing to make ends meet. He yearns for love but has given up. He knows things come with a price and one he’s not willing to pay. So when he is being watched by the mystery man, he knows what the man wants. He is enthralled and turned on, but he can’t let the man get to him. He won’t. Even when the man sends him gifts. He won’t break.
Oh Austin. *Swoon* He is just…the best. He’s been through so much, but is determined he’s going to make it. No matter his past or who his family is, he’s going to make it. No matter what people do or try to do to him, he’s going to make it. Somehow, some way. He loves teaching kids dance and loves working at the studio, but seeing his fellow co-worker in love breaks his heart. He wants it, needs it. He wants someone to hold him. To need him and want him. He even wants what the mystery man seems to be offering. He is pulled to this guy by an invisible thread. But he’s not prepared to pay the cost. And who can blame him? Lust, often mistaken for love, can bring much pain. And then there’s Frankie. Austin’s best friend. His past is coming back to haunt him and in very bad ways. Austin is worried for him and so am I. He’s just a sweet bundle of life. Full of pep and raring to go. If he just believed in himself a little more and stayed away from places he don’t need to be.
This was the perfect way to start this series. Although I’m ready for the rest of it like right now lol. Pick this up and get ready for great ride.
