What happens when two strangers meet and sparks fly? Find out in the brand new MM romance anthology I Just Met You & This is Crazy.

I just met you, and this is crazy, but even though we’ve just met, this is something – maybe? This MM romance anthology brings together five different stories of strangers-to-lovers, the ultimate combination of mystery and chemistry. These characters’ lives are transformed in a moment when they meet another man and sparks fly. From slow burn historical romance to sizzling contemporary encounters, low steam to high heat, here are a selection of boy-meets-boy tales with guaranteed happy endings.

This 80K word MM romance anthology features stories previously released by Space Fruit Press, appearing together for the first time.

Includes these five stories from some of our most popular authors:

No Batter, No Batter: An M/M Enemies-to-Lovers Softball Romance by Rena Butler – When Kevin, a former college baseball star and current single dad with a spot on the local softball league, accidentally gets into a rivalry with a member of another team, he finds out there’s a lot more to learn about being a player. If he’s going to work out this thing between him and Dan, the surprisingly hot, loud guy behind the catcher’s mask, Kevin’s got to step up to the plate.

You Be the Flower: A Sweet Historical MM Cowboy Romance by Augusta Connor – Nathaniel knows that he is not the blushing bride-to-be for which the newspaper was advertising, but it is 1877 and he is desperate for a way to move to the frontier and start a new life. What he finds is Jamie Landry, a farmer not expecting a spouse to arrive by train, let alone for the bride to be a groom. But Nat makes himself useful in the kitchen of Jamie’s Kansas farm, finding an outlet for his love of domesticity and beauty. He also finds something unexpected in Jamie, the quiet, sincere, and handsome man who has Nat’s fate in his weatherbeaten hands. Thrown together, will Jamie and Nat find a way to live – and love – on the open range?

Leaves of Absence: An M/M Forced Proximity Grumpy-Sunshine Romance by Opal Moritz – When stressed-out office worker Doug arrives at a remote cabin for a holiday, he’s planning on meditating, reading, and avoiding his email. What he doesn’t expect is Easton — his boss’ wife’s personal trainer, a blond, perky, juicer-toting ball of good vibes that even Doug’s grumpiness can’t defend against. Now the two of them are stuck together in very close quarters, and Doug’s beginning to realize that there may be more to life than constantly working. Leaves of Absence is a forced proximity, grumpy-meets-sunshine (while sunshine is doing yoga poses outside their cabin) 10,000-word novella that proves a rest is as good as an empty inbox.

Of Masks & Men: An M/M Instalust Romance Story by Daisy Fairchild – Marcus is an American in Brazil for Carnivale, expecting… he’s not sure what. But after a heated encounter in an alleyway with a masked man, Marcus finds himself in a cat-and-mouse chase across the city, searching for his mysterious lover. A series of charged trysts leaves Marcus only wanting more time, more answers, and more revelations. However, Carnivale has to come to an end — will this affair be over when the sun rises?

Hardball Productions Presents…: An M/M NSFW Pornstars Romance by Trixie Domino – Colby is an established performer in Hardball Productions’s stable of big, hunky tops. He’s been doing this for long enough to have seen it all, done it all, and has the empty lube bottles to show for it. But when he shows up on set to film a scene with the new kid on the block, a slightly-built Brit with a massive chip on his shoulder, he gets a surprise. Owen knows this is a business about getting screwed, and he is not here to make friends. But after Colby takes him on screen, he takes Owen by surprise in real life. While Owen is defensive and skeptical, Colby starts to peel back Owen’s layers. Will this transatlantic match make history offscreen, or are these adult stars doomed as soon as the director says cut? Hardball Productions Presents… is a 28K long, spicy, opposites-attract, size difference, NSFW story from Trixie Domino about American-British relations, starmaking performances, and love beyond viewcounts.

These stories cover a range of heat levels, different settings from historical to contemporary, from slow-burn to instalust – but all feature a happy ending.

REVIEW:

All of these stories were good and a couple of them (No Batter, No Batter and You be the Flower) are pretty great. The heat gets hotter with each story and the last two are pretty much PWP. If sweet and lovely are your style, the first two will leave you sighing with happiness. Leaves of Absence dials it up a notch but still has a really cute story to go with it. Of Masks and Men and Hardball Productions Presents are smoking hot, burn the house down, cold shower kind of stories and if that’s your kind of thing, you’re going to love them.

I am more of an “in the middle” kind of reader although I can appreciate all kinds of stories if they are well written and these really are. I can’t say too much about them, as they are all very short but here’s a little review of each one.

  • No Batter, No Batter: An M/M Enemies-to-Lovers Softball Romance by Rena Butler – This is totally a meet-cute, Hallmark romance kind of story. I very much enjoyed the interactions between Kevin and Dan. This story is sweet and funny and I would totally love to see a movie made out of this premise. Kevin’s daughter and ex-wife are just as much fun as our main characters. 4.5/5 hearts
  • You Be the Flower: A Sweet Historical MM Cowboy Romance by Augusta Connor – This story is probably my favorite. Is it the most realistic portrayal of life in the 1800’s? I suspect not but I really don’t care. I knew exactly where it was going and I was happy about that. Nat is sweet and kind and strong as heck. Jamie didn’t really want a wife but he was lonely. What he got was exactly what he needed. This story is sweet and romantic with a little bit of angst that just makes the happy ending that much better. 5/5 hearts
  • Leaves of Absence: An M/M Forced Proximity Grumpy-Sunshine Romance by Opal Moritz – This story was pretty funny while starting to venture into that sweet and very sexy state. I loved that Doug is self-aware enough to realize that he has a problem when it comes to letting go of work, but it takes Easton just being himself for Doug to figure out how to let go sometimes. There are some laugh out loud moments as well as some “you’re going to need a cold shower when this scene is over” moments. It has just the right blend of sass and steam for me and I enjoyed it a lot. 4/5 hearts
  • Of Masks & Men: An M/M Instalust Romance Story by Daisy Fairchild – This story is an adventure in sex with strangers while falling hard (heh heh) and fast. Marcus knew that Brazil was going to be hot but what he finds is something addictive and lava hot. There’s not much of a plot here, but there is a bit of story to tell. I will give Daisy Fairchild kudos for knowing how absolutely blow a reader’s doors off with the steamiest, sweatiest, sexiest smut that I’ve read in a while. She definitely knows how to tell this kind of story. 4/5 hearts
  • Hardball Productions Presents…: An M/M NSFW Pornstars Romance by Trixie Domino – funnily enough, this story about porn stars is slightly less steamy but not by much. Colby is an old pro at porn and is looking forward to “breaking in” the new guy. But Owen is not exactly who Colby thought he was. He’s smart and funny and more than ready to go toe to toe with Colby. If saucy banter and smoking hot sex is your thing, you are going to love Owen and Colby. 4/5 hearts

All the stories are relatively short but all of them are complete. Well written and put together, although kind of predictable. I have no problem giving these stories a collective 4 out of 5 hearts.
