BLURB:
Dear Santa,
I’m going to be upfront and tell you that I feel silly doing this, but here goes nothing!
I’ve realised that I lean more towards being a Daddy, than a strict Dom. I’m kind and caring, and I want someone to spoil. I’ll always put my boy’s needs before my own. I’ll take care of him in every way he needs me to. I’ll discover what he wants, how to make him smile, laugh, and moan
As for what I’m looking for in a boy… I’d like someone who wants to feel special, and who enjoys being held by his Daddy. If I had to choose between a naughty or nice boy, I think I’d choose nice. I can put a naughty boy through boot camp, but I’d much rather praise a good boy.
What I really want, Santa, is someone to cherish this Christmas. I hope that’s not too much to ask for.
Sincerely,
ExCombatDaddy
His Boy to Cherish is an M/M winter romance with a disabled first-time Daddy, a little who loves stuffies, a twelve-year age-gap, nappies, a loud-mouth best friend, some familiar faces, hurt/comfort, and a lot of feels. Trigger warning for characters with PTSD.
REVIEW:
What a precious story! While it’s a sweet and utterly caring story there are things to keep in mind. There are characters with PTSD, at those specific moments, it’s intensely present. I found them honest, and carefully, respectfully, realistically written.
After a nice introduction about both men and we get to know a bit about their circumstances, they finally meet through the Cuff’d app. This time the Daddy put a wish to Santa in the app.
The letter from ExCombatDaddy was speaking to Jayden, so he gave a reaction.
Ben was thrilled with the sweet boy. Jayden couldn’t believe his luck with a Daddy like Ben. I’m mean he really really couldn’t believe it! Ben noticed Jayden’s insecurities and wants nothing more than to convince him of how sincere he’s about their relationship.
Ben is an awesome Daddy, Jayden is his first little and he’s a natural with caretaking.
I won’t go into both men’s lives, I don’t want to spoil. What I will tell is something about their jobs, Ben is an ex-military now counselor and Jayden is a nursery nurse.
Both men have fantastic friends, they are fun, dedicated, and supportive, they have a wonderful place in their lives, and in this narrative, I loved them hard!
Getting closer and more and more involved with each other means their past and present are revealed, which is, besides their beautiful relationship as Daddy and little, an important part of this story.
I adored this story, it’s widely written, every detail described, quite entertaining. There are thousands of endearments, they all felt genuine and were so palpable, I mean REALLY palpable.
An awesomely written, quite enjoyable age-gap Daddy/little story with some hurt/comfort, and the most lovable characters. The scenes are adorable and now and then with some delicious sexy time. The circumstances are exceptional and convincing. The story was most of the time amazingly sweet, but there are some heavy-weighted moments.
Overall a great addition to the Daddy/little collection!
