REVIEW:
A new-to-me author with a unique Daddy/little story twist.
Eric has come to the realization that his little side must come to an end. He’s decided he’s just too. To old, to pudgy, too needy…just too much for any Daddy to want and care fore. His best friend for life Cody, aka Codfish (yep like from the Peter Pan and Captain Hook stories that Eric is so enamored with) makes him promise he will give it one last try at his new club The Garden, a BDSM club that has a dedicated area that caters to Littles. Sawyer has just about given up on life. A Marine Sargent, his life is literally blown up on a mission gone wrong. His dreams of being a Daddy and having his own special little that is not only his boy but his partner in life are gone just like most of one of his legs. Now he is stuck with a scarred stump and no future. When his BFF Aaron forces him to get out of bed and drags him to his new club he is totally surprised to find the perfect little, a plump little prince with a definite addiction to all things Disney villains. But what will his Little Prince do when he finds out that his Daddy is disabled?
I’ve read stories with younger Daddies and their older boys. What I hadn’t read and was new to me was the amputee dynamic. These valiant men and women go off to war, put their lives on the line and then come home missing more than just a limb. They come home with a part of their selves gone and their dreams vanished. I loved that Eric saw through the BS that previous partners had leveled at Sawyer but saw the man and the hero that he still was. And how perfect they were for each other. I know that Sawyer struggled deeply with his new him but Eric had to show him that it wasn’t a problem. But not getting to love each other and grow old together, now that would be a huge problem! That each other was More Than Enough!
This was a very touching story of love and acceptance despite age differences, aging bodies and physical limitations.
