Monthly Guest Post – TM Smith Interviews Author T.L. Travis for her ‘Rocktoberfest’ release

Happy Fall Ya’ll! Last month was so much fun doing an interview with one of my fellow Authors, I decided to stay on that train and do another one. T.L. Travis is another Author participating in the Road to Rocktoberfest series which is comprised of seven books and some pretty amazing writers. And let’s face it, we all need new books to add to our list, right? That was rhetorical, by the way. Stay tuned to the end for T.L. Travis’ stalker links and a giveaway!

**********************************************************************

Where are you from, and where do you call home? Originally from VA but AZ is home now.

What inspired you to start writing? A dream I had.

How long have you been writing? 12 years, but I’ve only been published for just over 4 years.

What advice would you give a new writer just starting out? The same advise I received – read what you write, and write what you read.

Do you ever suffer from writer’s block? If so, what do you do about it? Yes – I embark upon home projects, that always seems to kick start my brain.

What Author’s in the genre do you read?  Ann Lister, Lucy Lennox, Aimee Nicole Walker, Christina Lee, Riley Hart, Brandon Witt, Neve Wilder, KM Neuhold, Layla Dorine, KM Neuhold – to name a few 😉

What comes first, the plot or characters? Interesting you should ask that. I’m a total pantster. I get an idea, a name for the book and then I sit down and let the voices guide me. The names come as I write.

Are you working on anything at the present you would like to tell us about? Yes, I’m finishing Rhone’s Rebel, book 5 of The Road To Rocktoberfest (book 1 of the Embrace The Fear series), Adrian’s Mask (he’s the bff in See Me), Jaxson’s Nemesis (MV3) with far too many other ideas floating around in my skull.

Do you do research for your books? If so, what does that entail? Depends on what its about. I did extensive research regarding burn victims/wounds for See Me, but my Rockstars come naturally. I listen to metal while I write and have been to well over 100 concerts.

How many books have you written? Which is your favorite? 25 including articles and anthologies.  My favorite is See Me, Raphael called to me. His story was an emotional roller coaster.

Do you hear from your readers much? What do they say? I do 😊 As a matter of fact, I had a reader contact me about See Me. Her nephew suffered a similar accident and she said I hit it spot on. She also sent me a picture of him with his beautiful daughter to show that he too found love as Raphael did. Had me in tears.

About TL Travis

I’m TL Travis and I’m the published author of a plethora of Erotic Romance musings that have earned me a “Best Seller” status in the US as well as Internationally.

In my spare time, when I’m not weaving erotic webs, I enjoy fishing, wine tasting and people watching. Everyone has a story to tell, it would be fun to guess yours.

I’ve rescued 4-legged souls in need for as long as I can remember, and would like to remind you to “Adopt, not shop.” Saving that life may very well save yours in return.
