When the desperate needs of his family must come before his dream of finishing his degree, Kyle, feeling both guilt ridden and heartbroken, knows what he needs to do. But when his help isn’t enough, a shady idea offered by his even shadier friend proves the only saving grace.
Mergers, acquisitions, and philanthropy consume Maddox’s days and nights prompting an overdue visit to his best friend’s luxury resort. Finally enjoying some R&R, he meets an adorable botanist working there for the summer. But a surprise visit from his ex and a shocking theft from his suite turn Maddox’s trip into chaos.
Trusting his gut, Maddox strikes a deal to help Kyle make up for his sticky fingers. But when his heart gets involved and his ex refuses to let go, Maddox’s plan starts to unravel. A summer of romance, deceit, and greed have both men navigating emotional waters, leaving them to wonder if true love and their happy ever after will come to pass.
“You okay, Maddox?” Kyle’s voice was like a whisper. When I opened my eyes, he was closer. His pupils were blown wide, but I still saw a small blue rim.
“Yeah, I’m just having some trouble.”
Kyle smirked like he understood but worry danced across his face. “Trouble with what?”
“Trouble with not kissing you.” His gasp pulled me even closer to him. “You’re a challenge, Kyle.”
“I don’t mean to be.” His gaze went to my lips, and I knew he was just as screwed as I was.
“I know.” And like that storm the other day, I struck with a flash. Our lips met like thunder and it felt as if we were devouring each other’s souls.
His arms wrapped around my neck and his legs hugged my waist. I gripped his ass and carried him up the stairs, shocked I didn’t even stumble. Our tongues tangled, our teeth clashed, and when we reached the top of the staircase, we were both breathless and his lips were gloriously puffy and red.
“Holy shit,” Kyle breathed out as he slid off my body, taking a few steps back.
“I’ve wanted to do that since the second I saw you.” My fingers itched to grab him and pull him to me again.
“I wanted you to do it.” There was so much want in his eyes and hell, I wanted to take. Take it all.

I love everything Davidson King has written, especially Triple Threat and A Dangerous Dance.
‘Snow Falling!’
‘My Gangster, My Savior
n I would admire…But Christopher has become the exception. For a debut novel I am really impressed with this author. The plot is well thought out, the characters multi-dimensional and the love story compelling. Plus the dialogue is we’ll written. Simon and Snow are fun to spend time with even though they’ve faced pain in their pasts. Loved it!’
Men working outside the law are not normally men I would admire…But Christopher…
Sorry the cut and paste technique didn’t work for me today!
(…to follow ‘My Savior… (review posting from above…’
This is a new to me author but this book sounds so good.
First time hearing about the book, good to learn about it!
