HI Everyone!

I want to thank Love Bytes Reviews for having me as a guest poster…LOL is that a word?? I don’t know..but I want to thank them for always supporting authors in the LGBTQ community. My name is Nanee McGee but I write as Dakota Storm. My whole life I wanted to write, I had so many stories in my head and heart and I wanted to share them with the world, but wasn’t quit ready to put myself out there. I started many stories and put them on the back burner, not sure if I was ready to put myself out there… as I read more and more books and decided I wanted to review and start a blog. My Up All Night Read All Day blog was a blast and I read every genre and couldn’t get enough. Then one day I read some M/M romance books and I was like holy hell I need more of these stories in my life, I was reading 10 to 15 books a week and loved this genre. My dreams and my daydreaming turned to stories that I wanted to write with men falling in love…I wrote my first M/M story a few years back but again sat on it because I didn’t know if I was actually ready to put my book into the world… I didn’t know, but my amazing and supportive husband said why not?? Share your story. I submitted to JMS publishing and they picked up my first book Hunter and the rest is history.. I have three books with JMS  I have written so far and have soooooooo many more in my head to write, there is just something about men falling in love, being all sexy and knowing that in this world or in the world I write everyone gets their happily ever after…I write because I want the world to accept the fact that love is love, whomever wants to fall in love why not let them…….I work a more than full time job and don’t seem to have as much time as many amazing authors in this genre to write but I push through…I am still starting out and cannot wait to share more of my stories..

The LGBT community have some amazing authors in it that I have become very good friends with. This community is supportive and caring and I am proud to be part of it. I decided as I write to give back to the community by starting a newsletter called LGBT Books and More. Twice a month or more…I share new releases, sales and freebies and sometimes even share a review or two..Although I have little to no time to read sometimes, I still have my tried and true authors I go to, sometimes I re read stories to love them all over again. I want to shout out to all readers and writers of the M/M romance genre and say keep reading and writing!!!! I also want to share what I was reading today…or should I say re reading..The Promises Series by A.E. Via and the Nothing Special series by A.E. Via as well….love getting lost in her stories….
