Hello! Skylar, here. Thanks for hosting me today! I’m obviously thinking about dating. How do people meet? What might they say in a dating ad?

While Remy and Jed don’t place a dating advertisement, it was fun for me to imagine their ads. In Rocking the Cowboy, these two guys might never have chosen each other on a dating website, but they fall hard for each other in person.

 

Here are the excerpt and giveaway question. Enjoy!

Everyone adored Remy, on stage and off, but he was here. Everybody wanted him, but he had chosen to be with Jed.

Oh, Jed hadn’t gone off the deep end. He knew the man he cradled in his arms wasn’t going to stay. How could he? Remy was a star, meant for the bright lights of the music scene, while Jed was part of his land. Once Remy recovered from what happened in Athens and found his music again, he’d be gone. Nothing had changed. But as he held Remy and stroked his cheek with the back of his hand, Jed allowed himself to feel less lonely. To feel chosen, even if for a moment.

Remy had been asleep for a few hours, but Jed hadn’t slept more than in small patches. He didn’t want the night to end and reality to begin. He didn’t want to get on with his work. Didn’t want the hours to steal this happiness from him.

He nuzzled the side of Remy’s neck, mouthing the faint mark he’d left. When Remy only stirred a little, Jed slid lower to drag his tongue over Remy’s chest. He licked one of Remy’s pink nipples, laving it until it firmed.

Remy moaned. “Keep going.”

Jed did. He grazed the nipple with his teeth. Not hard, just enough to make Remy gasp.

Jed looked at him. He was so beautiful. His dark eyes flashed, and his lips were quivering a little. The moans Remy made were in that amazing voice, all honey and fire. Jed got off on Remy’s reactions. He wanted to keep doing things to Remy’s delicious body. He wanted to taste him everywhere, be inside him.
