A Little Cover Love from Andrew Grey

Authors live and die by our words, but almost just as important are the covers that the artists create for our work.  They help invoke the feel of the book and give the reader their first image about the story.  A good cover is so very important to the success of a work.  So I want to take a few minutes to thank each of the cover artists I’ve worked with over the years.  Anne Cain, Paul Richmond, LC Chase and so many others.  I appreciate all your hard work so very much!!!!

  1. I agree that a cover is important. When I am looking for a book the first thing I see is the cover. Chances are if the cover doesn’t catch my attention i won’t even be interested in checking out the book.

  2. I always take time to study the cover of the book I’m planning on reading. It doesn’t mean I will or will not make my decision to pick up the book solely on the cover. But it does play the role.
Thank you for sharing your insights and beautiful covers as well.
