Have to admit, I don’t know (m)any films with same sex couples.
I enjoyed “Antique” which is a korean movie based on Fumi Yoshinaga’s manga “Antique Bakery”. The homosexual aspect of some characters was stronger in the manga and is only implied in the film.
If you don’t mind anime, I liked “Junjou Romantica”, though it’s sometimes a bit over the top. There are a lot of other series or OVAs, but usually I don’t find them as appealing as the manga series.

Shelter is probably my favorite the one I have watched multiple times. I also like Breakfast with Scot and Make the Yultide Gay.

I always enjoyed TOUCH OF PINK (hey, LOST GIRL fans–Kris Holden-Ried is dreamy here!), but my favorite (though it’s not really a romance per se) is the Robert Mizer docudrama-screwball comedy-musical BEEFCAKE.

I haven’t watched that many movies with same-sex couples. But one of them is Shelter and I really liked it. Many authors said it was good and I even the MCs of a book watched it so I had to watch it too.

Maurice is my favorite. And I am thrilled to see several other people love it too. The written book and the audiobook are also marvelous.

I need to watch more movies. Brokeback Mountain is the only movie I’ve seen with a same gender couple.

“Shelter” is the one that change all of my perceptions of gay movies. The thing is, the ones I watched before always ended kinda sad. But Shelter is not. Shelter ends in happy ending. So until now, it is the BEST same sex movie I’ve seen featuring gay couple

As for happy ending movie featuring lesbian couple … “IMAGINE ME AND YOU!” My gah, Lena Headey and Piper Perabo were so good there

Sadly same-sex couples aren’t often depicted in Hollyweird. My first thought was about Interview With The Vampire, the ALMOST relationship between Louis and Armand (a character and actor who my Mom adored and named one of our cats after). Brokeback Mountain made me cry, and I taught my son about the dangers of homophobes with it.

Even though you never see the ‘couple’ aspect of the movie, the most heart wrenching ‘same sex’ movie I’ve ever seen is ‘The Imitation Game’ starring Benedict Cumberbatch as Alan Turning. Brokeback Mountain would be a close second.

I’d have to say Brokeback Mountain broke the mold on that one.
