How Time Flies

On May 31st 2011 my first MM Romance book Lorcan’s Desire was released by Dreamspinner Press. 5 years!! How can it be 5 years already??  I guess the old saying “Time flies when you’re having fun” is true.  Becoming a published author has changed my life. Sure I work more hours now than I ever have, I get eye strain, sore neck, writers block, and my addiction to caffeine has grown by leaps and bounds (as has my nights of no sleep) but I wouldn’t change a single thing! The past 5 years have been a roller coaster ride and I’ve enjoyed every moment!

Not only have I been blessed with being able to do something I love full time, but I’ve also met some of the greats people and made some life long friendships. Had it not been for writing Lorcan’s Desire, I would never have met Scotty Cade who has become my best friend and can’t imagine my life without him. Had I not written Lorcan’s Desire I wouldn’t have pissed S.A. McAuley off and she never would have contacted me. She and I have become extremely close. She’s been invaluable to my writing as a my go to person and co-author.

Because of Lorcan’s Desire I became part of the Crack Crew, obtained the two greatest editors, made Elizabeth North and Lynn West believe in and support me, and I was welcomed into the greatest community of writers, readers, and friends.

Happy 5 Year Anniversary Lorcan! Thank you for screaming at me to tell your story. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to grow and learn as a story teller.  And, most of all, thank you to everyone who has supported me in my writing journey. It’s because of each and everyone of you that I wake up each and every morning and know how blessed I am!

Leave a comment and tell me what you’re thankful for and one random commeter will win any ebook from my back list. Good luck

~Hugs~

Congratulations to you, Jo, and to Lorcan for your joined anniversary. I’m grateful for so many things I find it difficult to choose one: my family, my friends, my job… but I’m also grateful because one day I decided to visit the local animal rescue shelter. I found my kitty there, and I became a volunteer, which has brought me many good moments….
