Hi Guys!
This is Mj O’Shea. I have a new once a month post on Love Bytes talking a mix of some of my favorite things. I’ll be here every month on the 2nd! I thought I’d start off with an obvious one… music:)
Now, anyone who knows me knows I can talk about music basically forever, haha, so I’ll try to keep this short and sweet.
First is an all time favorite of mine when it comes to the holiday season called “Joy”. It’s from a George Winston album called December. My family always plays this album while we decorate the tree. I learned how to play it on the piano myself years ago for a performance and it’s still also one of my favorites piano pieces to play.
Next is another band I talked about a bit on my old blog. They’re called Late Night Alumni and they released a song called “Rainy Days”, which is very fitting for the weather around Washington state lately. Rain, rain, rain….
I think I’ll add another of their songs that’s a bit more upbeat so this post doesn’t end on such a melancholy note!
This one is great for workout mixes, or just to bop around your house. It’s called “In the Ashes”. I love the scratchy sound and the cool cocktail lounge vibe.
I think that’s enough for this post or I’ll still be here twenty songs later, lol. I’ll be back January 2nd for some more quick favorites. I’m always around on facebook, twitter, and my own blog if you have any questions or music recs. I’m always up for music recs !
