As the car sped past the buildings of the industrial area, on its way across town, Andrew stared out the window. Images of what could be wrong flashed through his mind. He felt dizzy as he thought of his father being in an accident. It was only the middle of the day so his dad should have been at work. Maybe something had happened at the store? The multiple scenarios presenting themselves made his stomach churn.
Tanner reached across and placed his hand on Andrew’s trembling thigh. He didn’t say anything but there was probably nothing he could say. However, his touch was reassuring, and Andrew focused on that for the rest of the tense journey.

Nic Starr lives in Australia where she tries to squeeze as much into her busy life as possible. Balancing the demands of a corporate career with raising a family and writing can be challenging but she wouldn’t give it up for the world.
Always a reader, the lure of m/m romance was strong and she devoured hundreds of wonderful m/m romance books before eventually realising she had some stories of her own that needed to be told!
