Jo here for my monthly post. I usually suck at this—always late—and poor Dani, bless her heart, has to remind me each month. This month she didn’t need to, though, since it’s part of my resolutions for 2015—to be more organized. Even better, this month I actually have something to say 😉
I recently posted on my blog page about all the upcoming stories SJD Peterson has coming out in 2015 as well as those I will be working on. What I didn’t mention is that “Jo Peterson” will also be publishing this year.
I’ve decided to publish under two different names: SJD Peterson and Jo Peterson. Jo (not SJD Jo, but still me Jo) will be releasing MMF and MF books. Why the second name? Simple—I didn’t want to confuse anyone. SJD books will always be MM (or MMM or MMMM or… I think you get the picture) while Jo books will include women in the mix.
I’m still working out the details, but I really need to start thinking about these things since I have a re-release coming out March 1st called Fractured Hearts that will be published under Jo Peterson. I originally published this story under another name just a couple months before Lorcan’s Desire was released, but once I wrote the first in the Whispering Pines series I had no desire to step out of the genre.
When my rights for Fractured Hearts came back to me, I decided it was time to explore that world again. The story has been completely re-written taking it from a MFM to a MMF as it always should have been. Also, after four years of writing, I cringed with how bad my first attempt at a novel it really was!

You’re a brave woman, Jo. I can’t keep track of one pen name, forget two. I was forever introducing myself by my real name – Andrew XXXXXXX at GRL, lord help me if I’d have to think what website or email or review site I was responding to. By the end I’d probably call myself Jo Peterson 😛

Yes, I is very brave, but this one won’t be hard at all. Jo is my real name and I find myself staring blankly at people for a moment when they call me SJD See I keep it simply I’m Jo, I drink Joe and my dogs name is Jo… (Okay I don’t really have a dog but the other two are true hehehe) XOXO
