How was 2013 for us?

We will never forget the year 2013, that’s for sure! It was the year when TBSL became a reality. It was the year, when this site did wonders statistically for a site this new. 2013 – a year that definitely marked history for us.

Little Thank You Notes

Of course, this all wouldn’t have been possible without people who backed me up through it. So I am taking a moment to sit down and list out all the people who made this impossible, possible.

First of all, to Andrew Q. Gordon – the person who is the reason why this blog even started. He has helped me a lot in the initial stage and I am grateful for all his tips.

Danielle, my co-owner – A motherly figure to me and I love her to bits. Like a mother would protect her child, she has always provided me with love, affection and has been there for me through thick and thin. Danielle has helped out a lot with this blog lately and I appreciate all the inputs she brings. She is a part of me and a very smart man that we both know dearly has pointed out how the name of the blog indicates that –

S.I.D. Love – Sid is Dani and the love is there! *hug to Daan*

Elizabetta – an enthusiastic reviewer, who has great command over her language and her love for books is amazing. People love her reviews and so do I! The one thing I like about her is she is very dedicated as well as so organized that I feel lucky that she is with us. Ebetta was one of the first reviewers who joined the team and has been contributing her support till date! Thank you Eliza.

Taylor, Jen, Cindy and Carissa – They have been on the team for only a few months now but their contributions are remarkable. They have definitely gotten a hang of everything in such a short time that I am amazed. These ladies are also very good at heart, real good friends when you get to know them. Their support has always been a motivating factor for me.

Heather & Nikyta – The two amazing ladies, who are also good friends! They weren’t just reviewers for me, they have even helped out a lot with the blog, in making some crucial decisions. As many of you might have known, both of them represented TBSL at GRL 2013 and did a fab job for sure.

All the reviewers who have been associated with us in the past have obviously contributed to the blog success. Even though they aren’t a part of TBSL any more, their work will never be forgotten.

To Authors and Publishers – Special mentions: Sue Brown – you may not know why, but I am and always will be thankful for showing me the path to be on. Also, the staff of DSP has always been ready to help with anything we wanted. May it be the review or the events.

And of course – to ALL the followers of TBSL!! You are the ones who keep us going. Your appreciative comments give us the satisfaction that we are doing good. Really, THANK YOU!

Bring on 2014…

The New Year is here! The blog is old but I will make sure 2014 will always bring some refreshing moments for you. The excitement will never cease and hopefully your love for us won’t either!

What’s new?

– We have got a new section where some of the popular authors will be blogging with us. Rhys Ford, Amy Lane, Z. A. Maxfield and many more!! You have loved their works and you will love them when they come here to interact with you.

499 books were reviewed in the year 2013!!

And for 2014 we will be aiming to review 750 books…
