REVIEW:

Oooooooo I was so excited to see what happened with Riley in this book and I wasn’t disappointed. If you read book one, you know we met Riley there as Blade took care of him as a bodyguard for a few days. Now he gets his own story!

Riley is at the height of his career as a musician but he is so worn out in so many ways. Riley is an alpha without an omega and he’s had enough of being alone. He’s tired of hiding in the closet. And what a catch Riley is. He is soft and adorable. Most people mistake him more for an omega type than that of an alpha. He is endearing and wants someone to take care of. At a concert party, he meets the man who turns his world upside down. Omega Colin.

Colin is a friend of Blade and Wyatt and came with them to this concert. After a scuffle saving Riley, he gets to meet the alpha who takes his breath away. The bad part is Colin wants no part of it. Colin has been hurt by alphas and lost someone because of an alpha and he wants no part of a relationship or having children. I hate this part because Colin is a wonderful man. He is loyal and a good bodyguard. He is also caring and has a natural tendency to care for those around him. And you want so bad for him to let Riley get to know him and let his guard down and be loved. After that night of explosive passion, neither can forget each other, but Colin refuses to be someone’s dirty secret. And neither want to let the other go. So they compromise. Colin works for Riley and they can be near each other without it being anything but professional.

Fate had other plans. Which you have to read to find out. Heehee. I loved this story. Both of these men are super men and you crave for them to find their other half. And finding each other is just perfect! They are what each other needs regardless of how much they fight it. This is a wonderful HEA that you just can’t put down. And I’m hoping that there is a book three because there’s a little twist in this story at the end.
