REVIEW:

No Remedy takes place three years after No Quarter, in which Captain Faolan Wolf had been poisoned by ryana.

Mace Simms is Faolan’s second in command as well as his sister-in-law. Mace has taken on the task of finding a scientist, becoming his assistant and helping to find the antidote for the ryana poison. Mace has found scientist Alec Roiten, Alec is a genius and the best at what he does. Unbeknownst to Mace she has found the person who developed the poison in the first place! Just as they were getting closer to the antidote they are surprised to find bounty hunters looking for one of them. They decide it’s best to run and that’s when Alec’s ex-lover leader of The Guild Hunters Byron, catches up to them. Byron has been searching for Alec since he ran away seven years ago. When the bounty came across Byron’s desk for Alec for five million credits three months ago, Byron decided this was the perfect time to finally find his erstwhile lover.

After the three of them make their escape from the little planet Alec and Mace had been hiding out on Byron decides to take them to an old guild safe-house to finish the research needed to find the antidote. Once at the safe-house Alec and Byron reconnect due to a condition Alec develops from his meddling with his DNA in the hopes of finding antidotes quicker if he can test them on himself. As they’re both very attracted to Mace and they know she is just as attracted to them they entice her to join them. This is the point where they all realise that they are a perfect fit as a threesome. Unfortunately they only have a few days at the safe-house before more bounty hunters turn up trying to kill them all.

They once again escape but this time they go to the Belle Kurve, Faolan’s spaceship where Mace can accomplish two things at the same time. Check on Faolan, make sure he doesn’t give up and find the antidote to make sure he survives. Oh, and they also have to find out who is after them and why!!

Normally, I’m a bit reluctant to read a M/M/F story where the M/M have already got an established relationship but I’m very happy that I ignored that and read No Remedy. Although Alec and Byron have a relationship and history outside of Mace they don’t make her or you feel like an outsider. All three of them have their own set of issues and I particularly like the way the three MC’s helped each other deal with them. I definitely recommend this book and series!!
