We have heard a rumor that this is the last book in this series! Is this true? Why?

Yes, this is the last book in the series! It was time – these boys have been around for six years! They’ve earned one final and glorious happily ever after. And honestly, more books would require more angst and problems and I didn’t want to manufacture something just for the sake of another book. This felt right as their endings.

How far out did you plan these books when you wrote the first one?

I knew pretty early that Jim would have his own book. I couldn’t let him leave Matt’s life or end up alone! It took me a few tries but then Griffin came along and voila! After that, it was when a story came along that I delved into that world again. Blessed and Truth & Tenderness were written specifically to end the series though.

Will you miss these characters or are you happy to be done with them?

I can’t say I’ll be happy but it’s good to put away familiar toys and challenge myself in other directions. I have a lot of stories and characters inside me! I want to let them come out and play. But I’m sure I’ll miss them a bit. Probably enough to through out a short story here and there.

How do you celebrate a new release?

I try to be out of the house so I’m not obsessively refreshing to see what people think!  The first day or so is hard for me – even after so many release days!

What do you have coming out next?

My new book comes out at the end of the summer – it’s a fun romantic story called “Groomzilla.” After that, the last two books in the Vigilante series will happen in the fall.

I am an East Coast girl, born and bred and no, I don’t have an accent or big hair! Writing has always been my dream, my goal, my happy place. When I was five my mom got me a subscription to a Disney magazine and precocious early reader that I was, I immediately caught on to the fact that someone somewhere WROTE these stories. And I knew exactly what I wanted to do with my life.
