Boy oh boy was I eager to get this one! I had fallen for the fun-loving Uncle Odem and couldn’t wait for his story!!! But it was so worth the wait!
Odem should have known! He knew the signs but somehow must have simply ignored them. Because Ronan had become his favorite omega with benefits. The sassy twink waiter at Mabel’s Diner with a side of snark just kept him on his toes and burning up the sheets…or more like the side of the wall! So Ronan screeching at the top of his lungs, on the street in front of the sheriff’s office, demanding to know where Odem was because he knocked him up shouldn’t have been a surprise. Duh! That’s why he was so attracted to Ronan. Because there is only one omega that he can ever get pregnant and that means that the high-heeled randy omega was two things: a dragon and his MATE!!! And his mate was definitely not happy about being knocked up and in total denial of what he really is.
Wow! I have been loving Odem and his love for his princess niece and rambunctious nephews! But humble and caring Odem is a true treat. And he definitely was mated with the right omega that could handle him. But he would add the child caring part to the equation with all his recent experience with his brother’s offsprings. Because Ronan will have those two baby girls dressed and styled to the max. But it is Uncle, now Papa Odem, that will be the true caretaker. Because he really is a caretaker through and through. And quite the fabulous cook too! But it was his love, care and protection of those he loves, especially Ronan and their eggs/daughters, that simply melted my heart into a steaming puddle of goo.
I love how many new dragons we are being introduced to. And the formable force that they are forming to support the guardians to protect Dragon City and the Primordial Guardians homes. Plus all the matings that are happening. Now we even having triad matings forming. How exciting 🎉 Then there are all these new babies of our guardians that will form the next generation of protectors. Griffin has already shown his direction as a leader, protector and warrior like his father Ionus. Luna will be a huge asset to him. And the twins, Hunter and Kane will reek havoc on those that dare to hurt whom they love. Add in that Cade is sure to keep his father’s knowledge and love of new information on the dragons and their lore alive. I’m unsure what sweet Opal and Ruby’s future holds but they will be true fashionista’s while doing it. And, with the rest of the brothers mating we have more beautiful and fierce dragonettes in the future. Especially with poly matings.
This universe that authors Layla Dorine and TL Travis have created has swept me away and enchanted me. I simply can’t get enough of these fierce protectors and their loving mates. Fantastic addition to a captivating and wonderful series that I demand more of ASAP! A huge thumbs up for this reader! 👍
