Art thief Cole Dalton is not a team player. Aside from a handful of trusted associates, he doesn’t work with anyone, and he definitely doesn’t help out other thieves.

Especially not the thief who stole his boyfriend.

But when a high-dollar job goes south, his conscience won’t let him leave that very thief to the wolves.

Will Yarmouth came for the legendary Iberian Puffin. He almost had it, too… until the most unexpected ally helps him escape before it all goes to hell. He isn’t stupid enough to think Cole has forgiven him for that incident with their ex, but he is feisty enough to tag along with him just to be a troll.

Cole’s frustration with Will is funny… but their situation is very suddenly not.

Now the Puffin is missing, an angry billionaire thinks Will and Cole have it, and they’re on the run.

Worst of all, they’re on the run together.

And the billionaire, their ex-boyfriend, and the cops may not have time to catch them before they kill each other.

Framed is a 75,000 word M/M romantic suspense featuring two art thieves who are great at what they do and even better at trolling each other.

REVIEW:

Will and Cole are very different characters – one a billionaire and one who definitely is not.  Also they have a pretty checkered past with Cole’s ex cheating with Will.  Turns out Will actually was also an injured party and maybe the enemy of my enemy is my friend??  Or at least partners in saving their own skins and hopefully taking down the miserable ex who dupes them both into trying to steal the same artifact from a high society party.

When they go hard on the trail of said ex, Marcus, and his potential buyer, things get dicey.  They end up in precarious positions, on social media and have to lay low. Thank goodness Cole has a lot of billionaire type options.  Except it seems they may be compromised and are going to have to rely on their wits and not Cole’s money and safe houses.

Their bickering and bantering leaves them vulnerable though. They are going to have to put the past aside if they really want to solve this thing and find out who is after them now, because if they do get caught, it won’t end well for either of them!

I’m a huge fan of these authors and I enjoy especially their books that have adversaries and/or rivals end up fighting the real bad guy together 😉  These guys end up on the run and it’s fun to watch them figure out if they can really trust each other.  The both have a lot to lose and they are furious and the common ex for luring them (and others) into this mess.  In a wild chase across multiple locations, they work together to try to figure out the end game here – and grow closer while they try to solve the mystery  😉  Thoroughly enjoyable romp and honestly I hope there are more stories with these two since there are a LOT of loose ends here 🙂  I would definitely like to see more of them together in the next chapter.  Recommended.
