BLURB:

I’d drop to my knees for this guy.

When my dad’s best friend accidentally texts me, I lose my ability to speak. Or think. Which is a problem since it’s my first day training volunteers at my new job. I stash my phone, but my questions aren’t as easily dismissed.

Who does he think he’s texting?
Coach Rathburn is into men?

It’s been five years since I last saw Brad Rathborn, hot silver fox and my high school wrestling coach, but I can’t let myself get sidetracked.

I moved home with two goals in mind: give my parents the best anniversary party possible and prove to the town I’m no longer the awkward twenty-two-year-old who ruined the county fair.

As Brad and I work together on the party and the community project, it gets harder to ignore the sparks between us. Especially when Brad reminds me just how much fun adulting can be.

Keeping secrets in a small town isn’t easy, and the anniversary party might not be the only surprise my parents get this Valentine’s Day.

A Crush on Coach is a dad’s best friend, age-gap, small town, mm romance with awkward texting, lots of kissing, too many secrets, and a town’s obsession with a certain orange soda video.

REVIEW:

Charlie, or Chas as he wants to be known now, left home years ago after a disastrous debacle at the local country fair when he was younger.  He has been embarrassed about it ever since.  He moved to Kansas City, finished college and now, 5 year after, he’s moved back home with a job as a project manager on a construction outfit that renos home for low income people.  He’s proving himself and his family is happy he’s home.

Chas gets an accidental text from his high school wrestling coach – who is also his dad’s best friend!  And it’s pretty raunchy.  Oh and the man is in the room with him and talking about him.  Say what??  Coach is into guys??  Chas is gobsmacked.

Loved this one!  Brad and Charlie are the couple we didn’t know we needed.  Yes, there is a 20 year age gap but clearly Charlie is now an adult 😀  LOL!  This was so cute!  I just loved Brad and Charlie.  Their families were fun too 😉  This is a story full of humor and heart and I highly recommend this little gem.  Perfect for Valentine’s Day 😀
