Soon, they’re cooped up in Charles’s cozy little house in the cute, small town of Charming, NY. Sparks fly, and it doesn’t take long before they give in to the attraction simmering between them.

But Eamon isn’t a cop at all.
He’s an angel.
Charles’s guardian angel.
And he’s anything but angelic, especially in what he wants to do with Charles…

Eamon has his hands full with Charles in more ways than one. Especially when Charles discovers Eamon’s been hiding the truth from him because if there’s one thing Charles is allergic to, it’s liars.

Is a happily ever after possible for the wedding baker and his Dirty Angel?

REVIEW:

  1. M. G. What a journey. A journey that surpassed my wildest expectations. And it came at a moment in my life when I needed to hear something positive and truly spiritual. Not in the form of preachy churchy types but in regard to humankind and the protectors that are in our midst but we have no idea who or what we are looking at. Of a higher being that loves all and wants good to defeat evil. That doesn’t judge unlike all those holier-than-all preachers. But sees the good and wants the best for us. That loves us and cares about us. That sends guardian angels when we need them. And is compassionate and caring. Not something/someone to fear but to know that they want us happy and loving. That makes sure that we are protected. This book did all of that and it comforted me in my time of need. It inspired hope.

Baker Charles is finally getting his life back on track. After all that nastiness with his former lover/partner, he is making a success on Wedding Row with his little bakery Sweet Relief. And he has dreams for the future. A future that allows him to grow and recapture what he lost. But this newest wedding might just cost him everything that he’s tried to build. And, quite possibly, his life!

I understood why Eamon couldn’t share with Charles who or what he is. That mere mortals can’t comprehend what sacrifices he makes to protect them from evil. They are his assignments. But, right from the start, Charles was different and Eamon was having difficulty with that. Yes, he’d fooled around on other missions but they never caused feelings to surface. Feelings that he wasn’t sure how to process or stop. And Gabriel knew that. I loved that Gabriel turned out to be who he was. I get that he was the boss and things had to go a specific way…however Gabriel had the whole picture where Eamon only knew what he knew. And that was that he had fallen deeply for the sweet baker and that’s not how assignments are suppose to go.

This is a truly great book and already on my Best of 2026 list. I hope that it means as much to you as it did to me.
