Synopsis

Spontaneity can be both exciting and terrifying for everyone involved.

When Riku ran from the trouble caused by his lover’s family, he wasn’t quite sure what he was running to. He left his beloved behind, abandoning his heart’s desire in the name of escape. Now, in a job he loves but missing that critical piece of his soul, he mourns, longing for the companionship as much as the sexual tension.

Theo has given chase, all the way across the country. He wants closure if nothing else, but that would be a terrible second choice. What he longs for is to have Riku back in his life and in his bed.

Now, with all the time and former distance between them, can Riku and Theo move past the merely physical cravings of “I missed you” to a confession of their true feelings?

Theo didn’t check with his good sense. He leaned down and kissed Riku full on the mouth. His own lips were parted. He needed to taste the other man. Like a thirsty traveler, he longed for surcease from his craving.

Riku kissed him back, licking his way into Theo’s mouth. He nibbled Theo’s lower lip and Theo moaned.

Capitaine yipped again and Theo, warned, pulled back and ordered her to stay put. The moment was gone though. Now that he wasn’t kissing Riku, reality reasserted itself.

Or it would have, if Riku hadn’t gripped Theo’s hip and lifted his pelvis so Theo could feel the hard center of him.

Theo gasped and resumed the kiss, ninety percent of his attention on the play of tongues and lips. The pressure of Riku’s teeth on his overly sensitized mouth made him moan again.

The other ten percent, though, was focused on Capitaine. Her wellbeing was his responsibility.

Still, the way Riku broke the kiss so he could nip at the cord in Theo’s neck, and the way he rubbed their cocks together made it difficult to keep anything other than pleasure in his head.

Riku had ceased to hold Capitaine’s leash or Theo’s hand. Instead, he was busily running his fingers through Theo’s slightly wavy hair, tugging at the curls gently.
