Welcome to the Love Bytes Reviewers’ Best of 2025
Another year has passed in which books have brought all of us a much-needed escape and sense of comfort. Our Love Bytes team reviewed approximately 800 LGBTQ+ books in 2025, from contemporary romance to fantasy, paranormal, historical, adventure, mystery, comedy, and everything in between. Each day for the next weeks, we will feature one of our reviewers’ top picks from books and audiobooks published in 2025. These lists highlight how diverse our tastes in reading are, and offer something for everyone. With thousands of fantastic new books each year, written by hundreds of creative and talented authors, it’s so difficult to narrow our lists down. We all have many favorite authors not featured here and wish we could acknowledge them all.
So here it is the last one, I hope you like reading all our lists 🙂
“Danielle’s” favorites
Because of different circumstances I spend a certain part of the year reading a lot. There were a couple of series I want to mention and highlight because they made me smile and helped me go on.
Most of the books in these series are published way before this year but they have parts in ongoing worlds and they were a significant part of me this year so I want to highlight them anyway.
I started the year early with finally reading Reese Knightly her series. I started from scratch knowing I already read some but wanted the whole experience. Out for Justice, Operation Justice Force ,Code of Honor, Cobalt Security, Erebus Assassins and Genesis Savage Warriors
Maggie Hemlock , they created a world that was beautiful to live in for a while. I started at the beginning with The Hemlock Pack Saga, went all the way through each and every series incl Hemlock Fairy Tales, Love by Glitter Bomb, The New Hemlock Pack Saga Life in the Hemlock Wolf Pack: Life in the Happily Ever After, Scarscale Mates and am currently still keeping up to date with Mori’s Mementos.
And I read the whole collection from Taylor Rylan after finally giving myself time to go through that one also. Starting at the Honey Creek Den, Timber Valley Wolf Pack, Warlocks of Amherst , Vampires of the Beloved Gem, Destined Paranormals,all the way up to the current series Paranormal Council Enforcers and Vittone’s Vampires I have to say I would happily give everyone the joy of living in as lovely called “Edison’s” world Universe for a while.
That didn’t leave much time for “single” books tbh lol
But there are definitely a few I would like to highlight 🙂
Forever Rebel by Garrett Leigh – Buy Link
Because if I am honest I would always highlight a book in this series. It is one of the best series ever out there and this final book captured everything the series is about. This is simply said everything you could want in a series.
Love Songs by L.C. Chase – Buy Link
I had the pleasure to read all 4 books in this series and they are all wonderful
This one for me stood out just because it is incredable storytelling and I really wanted to read Conor and Dallas their story.
The Arrangement and The Temptation by Jocelynn Drake – Buy Link
tbh I could have put all the books from this series here because it is just that good.
I just am a sucker for friends who find their partners lol
Perfect Storm by Beth Bolden – Buy Link
I think I would buy any sportsbook by this author automatically.
So new sport series by Beth Bolden and my heart goes YES
I love her characters and her series, each and everyone of them are a must read and with this book in a new series that is no difference.
She is just that good and I think I mentioned before …those epilogues…
Not That Guy by Felice Stevens – Buy Link
Great story and happy that there was a second one also
This one with West and brenner was absolutely awesome, I loved the built up and there chemistry
Frost and Fire by Ana Ashley – Buy Link
As my review said It is fascinating, funny and deeply emotional to read the journey of these two men finally finding their way towards each other. Beautiful Small Town Love Story
