Can he somehow bring magic back to Christmas?
Gabe
Pining after a man and stood up by another, I leave for a holiday retreat for two alone. Maybe solitude will drown away my sorrows. The storm raging outside matches my dreary mood. However, I’m somehow sharing my cabin in the blizzard-covered mountain with a stranger.
Edries
I’ve been making headlines as an eccentric billionaire for as long as I can remember. I’m not used to making headlines because my wife announces she wants a divorce, that she never loved me, and she’s taking our kids for the holidays. My first holiday alone will be on a beautiful mountain, to which I make it just in time to beat the storm.
But someone is already inside the room I paid for and now I’m stormed in with a stranger.
REVIEW:
Wow, this was a short but intense story. I absolutely adored this one.
It has ALL the good feelings, and makes this a super duper lovable and satisfying read.
Gabe booked a cabin for Christmas, for him and his boyfriend. But the guy stood him up.
Edries booked a cabin for Christmas, for him alone. He’s freshly divorced from a woman, who lived only for the outside world, pretending to have a perfect life.
There’s a snowstorm, and they arrived just on time. Only, the cabin is double-booked, with no other available.
It was awkward at first, but they are easygoing and… there’s an instant attraction.
What follows will warm your heart and set your reader on fire.
They don’t only share their bodies, but way more: their memories, their hopes, their insecurities, and their goals. It was everything. They have the best Christmas ever.
There’s a connection so deep and beautiful that they’ve never had before. We get to know every lovely detail of their lives.
Being together was the start of healing, for both. Old heartaches gone with the wind ehhh, snow!
It was a sexy and romantic story. We get to know lovely little details about both men.
The end? Gosh, I cried, so intensely beautiful!!
Overall, a gorgeous piece of work!
