The cowboy, the rancher, and a little holiday magic…

Tanner

I meet the grumpiest man on the planet, and I’m head over heels in lust. No joke. Oak Ridge Ranch’s new part-time-vet-slash-ranch-hand is a bear, and he’s built like one too. If I were smart, I’d keep my distance.

In a twist, I’m not so smart.

But I can tell that under his hard-as-nails exterior, the cowboy is a gentle giant. Axel is a devoted single dad, a dedicated vet, and…I think he likes me. Or he wants me.

I can work with that.

Axel

I need the job at the ranch through December; then I’m out of here. I have a kid to think of, and it’s time to settle old scores and build a new life. But Tanner complicates things. He’s smart, intuitive, charming, and—

Whoa! This is temporary. I’m not Tanner’s cowboy.

But I am attracted to him…and there’s nothing wrong with a little holiday fun, is there?

A Cowboy Holiday is an MM, bisexual romance featuring a single dad-cowboy-grump, a sweetheart of a rancher, and some holiday sparks.

REVIEW:

Aww Lane Hayes at her best. I am a huge fan of this author and have been following her writing from the early beginnings, so when I saw this new holiday story popping up it was a great way to spend some time again with her writing and her characters.

Author Lane Hayes knows how to write her characters likable, understandable and most of all loveable even when it involves a grumpy vet/ cowboy (Axel),combine this with a very lovely delightful rancher (Tanner) and trow in a adorable sweetheart of a little girl and you are set for a wonderful light holiday story.

This story is a light easy read not much drama and definitely no angst just a single dad trying to figure out the best lift for him and his little girl and a rancher who has a good settled life not looking for anything permanent but finding it in an unexpected place or should I say in an unexpected person…

It is so easy to love Tanner and I have to say Axel knows a way to wurm in your heart with his grumbling and what is not to love about a sweet little girl that just lives her best life thanks to her daddy.

You’ll  notice the instant connection and sparks between Axel and Tanner but they take their time getting to know eachother, growing closer. It is wonderful seeing them find that trust.

There are definitely some sexy times in there also, when they indeed grow closer so if you are looking for that you will definitely also get that 😉

Lane Hayes shows you the struggles of a single dad wanting to make the most for his girl while doing what he loves and also makes you see the inside of ranch/farm life.

I personally love the little animal moments , the family/friends things trown in.

The epilogue makes the story even a tad sweeter and shows a wonderful glance in the future.

For a lighthearted holiday romance I highly recommend this one, enjoy 🙂
