NOTE: Per the author’s note, this is not the place to jump into this universe. It won’t make a lot of sense if you haven’t read the Zero Hour or Matrimony and Mayhem trilogies or the first where this couple gets together and continue their journey through marriage.
The day has arrived! Darla Grace makes her entrance into the world and things are going great. Then there is a wrinkle. A wrinkle that has Sawyer very much on edge. And what’s an overtired first time parent to do? Become a swirling mass of worry of course! Luckily Royce and his mom help him adjust to the new world he’s stepped into. Even the pets seem to be getting into the swing of things. While there is a murder investigation going on, it’s not their case 🙂 And even though they are invested in the outcome, they aren’t doing any of the “actual” work, despite what it looks like 😉
The guys of course are so protective of their little angel. All the grandparents are overjoyed! Eddie and Royce are getting along soooo well! And well, Eddie is making up for lost time and is thrilled with little Darla too since he missed the rest of his grandchildren growing for the most part. He’s got a new start too 🙂
Oh what a fabulous way for this couple to get their every so happily ever after with their new family. This whole trilogy has been delightful as we wait for Baby Locke to show up on the scene. Sawyer spiraling with worry, Eddie and Jo, Baron and Evangeline, Kelsey and Andrew, and even the chief and the sheriff get into the act. There is even a murder that ties into their lives that keeps Sawyer and Royce on their toes and also on pins and needles. What a fabulous send off for our boys and their Darla 🙂 I don’t know if this author will continue their story, but I know that we will all be here for it! Highly recommended!
