Ionus and Alex are hosting their very first Christmas together with their beautiful and rambunctious dragonettes and all their extended family and friends! So make sure you have a full fire extinguisher nearby, and come join the fun!
Do you remember getting Christmas cards when you were little? The wonderful newsletters that might be tucked in were always a special treat. When I was young this was common place. Long Distance was super expensive and only for very special occasions or an emergency and the calls were always super short. So every evening, during the holidays, my family would gather round as Momma read to Daddy, my little sister and I the daily cards that arrived in the mail. Our favorites were the ones that came with a hand-written letter in longhand. They would contain what was happening in our extended family’s lives. If we were really lucky they would even contain those little school pictures of our cousins from far away. I still have precious memories of those times.
Well, I bet you are wondering where I’m going with this? This wonderful novella felt just like those longhand letters I treasured so much. I felt like we got a really special treat getting to experience this first Christmas with the Denarius clan watching Ionus and Alex’s new additions: Griffin (the protector like Ionus), the twins Kane and Hunter (and their many, Many, MANY fire mishaps) and sweet Luna (Papa’s Princess in her burnt tutu’s). These two gifted author’s folded us into the clan and we were right there for each and every precious and memorable moment. 💕
I think that the most surprising thing I’m learning is that Odem, the Ruby brother, seems to have come into his own with the arrival of all these precious babies. He’s a natural and I can’t wait for his story next because he’s proven he’s a natural at this!
