Yay 🎉 I’m back at the Winter Wonderland Wilderness Lodge and another fun novella of fated mates and beautiful babies!
Human omega Davey Carter is so over his mother’s constant desire to match him to one of the many unmated alphas that she parades in front of her spinster omega son. He just wants a quiet holiday. One that is nestled deep in the woods, in a snow-covered cabin, with a cup of hot cocoa (with mini-marshmallows of course 😉) and his e-reader loaded with a dozen new books! What he wasn’t expecting was a gorgeous alpha to have just been given the keys to his cabin in the woods by the reception desk clerk. A cabin that he had the printed reservation receipt.
Michael Gray was on his way to his yearly retreat at cabin 7 at Winter Wonderland Wilderness Lodge with his friends/fellow wolf shifters. Unfortunately the severe winter storm made his friends have to cancel but he lived hours away and, in his shifted form, made it with no trouble. While checking in he smells a scent he has waited his thirty-two years for…his fated mate! A human omega mate that has no clue that shifters even exist. A sweet omega that insists that they share the cabin for his safety. A mate that his wolf wants NOW!!!
I simply loved Davey. I love how sweet he is. How totally accepting of Michael and all the unknowns that were suddenly thrust at him. He just took it in and went with it. And Michael 🥰 just Wow! He was so thoughtful and caring. And his wolf was just as super possessive as he is. But what really grabbed me in this story was those precious Christmas presents that they made for each other. How could you not swoon at Michael’s gift. And Davey’s was just so precious 💕 I hope someday he adds little wolf pups to his art!
If you have been following this series’ reviews then you already realize that I am literally been entranced with this wonderful Multi-Author series and this book is no exception. I love the whole double-booked and only one-bed premise. Each of these amazing authors have given us a special Christmas treat to get us fully into the holiday mood. Michael’s doting personality and Davey’s sweet and trusting acceptance was a special treat in this super fast read. Hope that you are enjoying these wonderful novellas as much as I am!
